  • Visited Amigoni on a recent trip to KC. We were intrigued by the West Bottoms area so spent a few hours in the area visiting the unique funky shops and boutique restaurants. Abigoni wines are dry wine...  more »
  • Tastings are $5 for 6 wines or maybe $6 for 5, I can't remember. Went for the first time to check it out, unfortunately, I'm a sweet wine lover and they have zero sweet wines so I was not going to do ...  more »

  • Interesting venue. I liked the wine barrels behind glass and that they have brought back to life an old building. Whether or not someone likes wines is personal so who am I to say if they are good or not. I sampled two reds that I thought had an interesting peppery flavor. They do not make any sweet wines as they want to be similar to California wineries. Some of the grapes are grown locally and some are brought in from California.
  • Went to a wedding reception here. The space was interesting. One big room when you first walk in with a bar, then a back room of about the same size up a small staircase, also with a bar. There is an upstairs above the first room that you can go up to that overlooks it that is kind of neat. The ceiling is rather low, but it's a pretty nice event space for small to medium crowds.
  • Great wine and atmosphere. Tucked in a historic Kansas City building. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the selection.
  • I really enjoyed the wine and the building, but the food was awful. The farm to table crackers, tasted like cardboard. The meat platter hardly had any meat and the bread that it came with was soggy. Which stinks, because when you're enjoying a couple glasses of wine with friends and family you really want a small snack. The meat, cheese, and cracker platters at Walmart are better than theirs. The star also wasn't very friendly. They seemed annoyed that we were there. I am hoping these things improve, because I did enjoy the wines and the building.
  • Great place! Love the ambiance, the wine was great and the staff was friendly.
