CommunityAmerica Ballpark is a baseball park in Kansas City, Kansas, technically located in the latent township Piper, Kansas. It is home of the Kansas City T-Bones of the independent American Association, and the former home of the Kansas City Wizards (now Sporting Kansas City) of Major League Soccer. It is located in the Village West area at 1800 Village West Parkway. Many local area High School teams play at the ballpark and it is also the home of the Kansas City Kansas Community College Blue Devils. It has also been used for concerts and some community events.DescriptionThe ballpark is named after CommunityAmerica Credit Union, a Kansas City area financial institution, which bought the naming rights to the park. The reported dimensions of CommunityAmerica are 300ft down the left field line (with an 18ft wall, affectionately known as "the Little Green Monster"), 411ft to left center, 396ft to dead center, 409ft to right center, and 328ft down the right field line. Walls are about five feet high, with the exception of the Little Green Monster and the bullpen area in left center. The walls are about 10ft high at the bullpens, which are in center field and add a few extra angles and contours to the outfield. The playing and seating areas are completely surrounded by a 25ft wide concourse. With the addition of bleacher seats in 2008, the park has 6,537 fixed seats, though its capacity (including the concourse, picnic area, right field grass berm, and center field party area) is usually considered over 7,500.

  • Excellent place to take the family for a fun ballgame. Picnic tables in the outfield can be reserved for a great view and perfect place to eat. Ticket prices to get in are reasonable and even the concession won't break the bank (when compared to a MLB concession stand). There is a playground for kids that allows the adults to keep an eye on the game and the kids. Between each inning there are games/entertainment out on the field to pass the time. Really fun place to go!
  • This is a really great ballpark! Very family-friendly, they have a park area for children. It is always very clean and well kept. There are many food options, including catering to the suites. They have many events and special pricing occasions. Endless family friendly activities, and in an overall prime location. Not to mention a great team!! You can easily plan to spend an entire day and night in the area, so it's worth a good drive to travel to. If you've never been, I definitely recommend a family trip!
  • Fun place for family or just a day out. Good prices, easy to find. Kids get to run the bases after games and good crowd interaction. It's a great alternative for people who love base, but don't want to pay prices of a professional game. Plenty of room for kids to run if they get antsy sitting in their seats.
  • Such a fun place for the family! You can bring grills and tailgate. Tickets are very reasonable and the store has fair prices on tees, hats, and other fun items. They also have lots of fun giveaways.
  • Great fun. Bouncy house for kids and not a lot of drinking or drunks there.not much smoking rather. I don't recommend the nachos, but the chicken strips are something to snack on. Great American baseball, great seats, good food and great price!
