  • Visited in late September and unfortunately the paths were muddy and green grass areas were wet. There were very few flowers blooming. The lady in the information center was very helpful.
  • We took our two kids (2 & 1 yrs) and had a great time. We walked to the lake, but once you got off the paved path, it was very muddy which we weren't expecting, so wear shoes that can get dirty. Fishi...  read more »
  • I wouldn't say this is a must see attraction but if you're looking for a place to walk or just really love plants this place is for you. Most of the walkway is paved and there are signs in front of mo...  read more »
  • Nice, low key park. I love that they keep cars out between 4 pm - 9 am daily. During those hours, the park still remains open to pedestrians and bicyclists via the pedestrian entrances in both the main and rear entrances (and also campers during the weekend). The stream and loop trails are nice, but can be muddy, especially the stream trail, where there is also some downed vegetation. These trails connect to the pond, which they close the east part off except to fishing, 10 am - 2 pm.
  • Great place to camp (bring insect repellant), fun place to take kids (catch and release fishing on the weekends), nice place to each lunch (closes at 4, so be sure to not get locked in). it's nestled right up close to the mountains, so you get one of those scenic views that you usually can only get by hiking. If you love plants, it's totally worth a visit
  • Great place to take your kids. When we went there we saw a family of pigs. LOL. great for barbeques and having the kids to. Around .
  • This is a large vast Botanical Garden make sure you have hiking shoes cuz you will need them it rains on that side of Oahu a lot so make sure that you have an umbrella or don't mind walking in the rain the staff is very helpful there's so much to see it's almost impossible to do it all in one day
  • Beautiful scenery, lots of ducks and geese to feed bread to and a nice pond to sit and have lunch close by. There are benches throughout the garden and a few picnic tables scattered throughout. Breathtaking Ko'olau mountains are right next to the garden so it's always cool and breezy.
