  • This is only a very short drive from downtown. The trip into the park and up the hill is cool as well. From the main building it is a easy climb to the first lookout. The views are amazing of the NW p...  more »
  • Nice walking trails and archery range. Probably best views of the valley without hiking a long hike. You can make your hike as long as you want as there are several trails that cross each other.  more »

  • Visited from out of state with my wife and 6 year old daughter. Staff was super friendly - went out of their way to show my daughter around the visitors center. Very nice people. The park itself afforded great views of Kalispell, and an abundance of trails to hike on. We did about 2.5 miles bouncing around on various trails without getting lost. The trails were pretty easy to negotiate. Very nice place. I'd recommend it.
  • Awesome visitor center and quite a few different trails to hike around on. Also have a few mountain biking trails to cruse around on. I love this place!
  • Cute small hiking park, rangers are always really friendly. The visitors center is surprisingly good for it's size especially if you have small children
  • Great place to go hiking. Staff at the visitors center are very kind and kid friendly.
  • Beautiful views and atmosphere are the setting for this park. Be sure to check out the astronomy courses during the summer. Trails are around for hiking or biking.
