  • We stopped by this park during our recent visit to Montana and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. The fall foliage is amazing and the lake was so calm and serene. Clea...  more »
  • We had a picnic lunch here, and hiked. It was much less crowded than Glacier National Park, and still very pleasant.
  • We stopped by here for a walk after dinner and watched the sunset. Really nice park. Fun to do on a week night without spending too much money. People were grilling out and it was a Wednesday night!

  • Beautiful campground that's right on Flathead Lake. My girlfriend and I camped here for5 days and loved. The bathrooms are clean and they have vault toilets near the sites and they also have showers that cost $3, bring quarters. The campsites have picnic tables and fire rings. As a non-resident we paid $28 a day and I believe residents pay $18. If your going to Glacier this campground is only an hour away.
  • No doubt it's tough to beat camping right on the shores of beautiful Flathead Lake. However, don't expect to relax. The camp hosts allow overcrowding of sites to the point of barely being able to drive the one way loop. Add to that our neighbors flying extremely annoying drones, starting at 8 am this morning. You might as well camp next to your neighbor running his weed eater all day. 5 star location, 1 star riff raff.
  • Love the flathead, make sure you're either experienced with navigating a smaller boat in large waves or get off the lake when the wind kicks up. Or hey get a bigger boat, either way be safe and enjoy the lake trout.
  • The day use area is lovely! Pets are welcome as long as they are leashed. Beautiful view and the beach is perfect to play on. There are tables available to eat at.
  • Nice campground with great views of the lake and mountains. Restrooms and shower houses very clean. Attendants were very helpful and accommodating and went out of their way to make out stay enjoyable, especially Sue.
