  • Amazing place , very fun and a great way to meet locals and eat local food. Also there is plenty of other vendors with food from other countries or inspired in other countries, lots of craft vendors and it is right on the new area where the new black sand beach is so you can go earlier before dark and enjoy a stunning sunset and grab some dinner after it. Also there is live music going on all night. A must if you around Payola and hilo
  • Might be a good place but was closed when I showed up after driving over an hour. The laid back lifestyle really extends to the management of this place. Patience is a virtue in Hawaii. New hours of operation are from 730am to 430 pm
  • Absolutely an amazing place Every day of the week! Friendly people and great food and crafts on Wednesday night market! Wonderful Awa , you will feel a true spiritual connection the the island and to the native Hawaiian people. So much aloha in one spot!
  • This place is a gem: full bar, multiple food options, music at night and cultural tours to boot. Walk the trail past the awa stand to the beach. The drive here down the red road is worth the trip alone. Awesome healthy vegan food stand with crafts and massage at same location.
  • Imagine driving on an island to the end of the road, to find a place where people are together. Music, food, booze and all the other human goodies. Something for everyone on Hawaii land Fun Wednesday night out. Go early or miss out on parking. Enjoy. Fun social night on the Big Island. A very well known destination. The crowd is a mixture from all over the world.
