  • This sanctuary is great to take walks in. It feels incredibly peaceful and the surrounding mountains and greenery are truly breathtaking.
  • So many people volunteer to protect and maintain this marsh. It is beautiful. And I wish we had more time to visit again. There are lots of endangered birds that can be seen here. We also spotted some feral pigs playing in the grass.
  • Nice trail that takes you out of the town and you're able to enjoy the landscape. Views are awesome! Definitely great for walkers, runners, strollers or bikes. There's some occasional wildlife that can be seen too. Don't let kids run off too much, wild boar have been spotted there too. There's a parking lot at the beginning of the trail, a picnic table and porta potty too.
  • Wonderful hidden scenery of beautiful Kailua area and views of the mountains
  • The model airfield was quiet this afternoon. The wind was almost non existent which is rare. Finally the grass has been cut, it's a bummer when you land your plane and have to clean off all the grass.
