  • Lots of shops including galleries, clothing, gifts, coffee, souvenirs etc all walkable. Primary building use to be the first hotel in Kona where steamships brought tourists.
  • I was drinking on the shore at the back of the store, bought a coffee peaberry Kona Coffee and Tea Company saw rock fins. And look at the turtles, and what ❗ was a small turtle, three rock in algae and eating, I was surprised.

  • It is very much designed for tourists and quite interesting but the shops do not provide a whole lot of interesting shopping. Many of the shops were fairly tacky selling junk, with a few exceptions. C...  more »

  • This is the heart of Kailua Kona. It is painted just the right color brown to fit in with the Volcano. Staff is excellent, and are resourceful. There are many fine stores, but my favorite? With over 30 different business and its quaint ways. If your visiting, go down town, and relax, walk around.
  • It's expensive and full of things that you will never need, and some things that you really need that you will pay throughout the nose for. It is a great little boardwalk-esk shopping center though.
  • So many cute small shops to see. Great places to eat wonderful shopping!! Got to check out Jguires at the so sign.
  • Lots of fun shops with local and imported stuff. There was a cool ukulele store, and a crazy shirts store. We spent two hours there but could have spent more time looking around.
  • A cute shopping center with lots of fine arts and crafts. Very comfortable, and it feels safe. Definitely a staple of any downtown Kona walk.
