  • Can see tropicsl fish from dock, small beach at the southern ocean side. Restaurant good food, open air. Nice to watch boats come in.  more »
  • Easy access . Bathrooms. All kinds of activities for all ages. Great place to see sunset! Eating places closed when we were there.  more »
  • As a meeting place for Dolphin-man tonight is the familiar Harbour. Covered bench corner beside the toilet, includes tour before bleaching. Because it will be in the bathroom, change of clothes, shower not clean is OK I think you have a change of clothes.

  • Toured with Hawaii nautical. "Luxury dolphin sail and snorkel." Deckhand Sean and capt John were very friendly and accommodating. 4 hour tour but no dolphins. Nice yacht, only my partner and I and one other couple so not crowded at all. Great snorkeling. Lots of snacks and lunch included.
  • It was a neat sight, but we were just here to take a tour. That being said, you need to find your specific tour/charter company amongst the many and varied boating companies docked at this marnina so come prepared with your information. Unless you care taking a tour, or chartering a boat, there really is no reason for a tourist to visit the marina.
  • Food was great, service was good but they tended to regulars better than us tourists, kind of an unwelcoming demeanor but if you can overlook those things its still a nice place.
  • The Honokohau Harbor is where many of the charter boats depart from for your fishing charters and eco-friendly charters. The harbor has a few public restrooms, a marine supply store, charter desk, two gas stations, a deli, and currently one restaurant. There are temporary slips, permanent slips, and commercial slips, as well as two boat launch ramps for trailer vessels. On the north side of the Harbor is also a National Park with a nice beach for turtle watching and snorkeling. On the south-side of the harbor is a great beach for shore diving, swimming, and bringing your dog to enjoy the water. If you decide you want to head to Kona after your charters, the harbor is only minutes from downtown Kona and just off the main highway so it's convenient coming from anywhere on the island.
  • The Harbor House cafe serves great "pupus" such as fresh poke and really good crab meat sandwiches. Another great thing about this place is their ice cold schooners :) nice place for a lunch or beer with a view.
