  • There are places to hike, fabulous views, we had perfect weather, a nice museum, and flowers. Seeing how much further back the roads and trails are from the glacier than they used to be was kind of up...  more »
  • We parked at the Park Service building, and hiked the 2.5 mile loop up the south side of the glacier. It was a good hike. The weather was a bit damp, but the views were spectacular. 
  • There are three ways to get to Mendenhall; ship excursion, city bus and a rental car. We have done the excursion in the past; too expensive for what you get and not enough time on site. The city bus i...  more »
