  • We had a wonderful trip to the Mendenhall glacier and highly recommend taking the time to walk it and take photos! 
  • The glacier is amazing. you can even see bears there. There is a bus that goes there, something like a public transportation, but you can also rent a car 
  • Take the trail that goes ABOVE the visitor center. It leads to the glacier away from the short trek packed with visitors at the valley floor.
