  • Probably the easiest trails to traverse on bike or on foot, not hard on a trail dog by any stretch. When you go off the trails is where it gets interesting, yet it wasn't overly challenging. The wildlife was pleasant, the bird activity was awesome the river was fantastic, even the restrooms were well maintained. It's definitely worth visiting
  • Very nice Park. Only one flush toilet/shower restroom for the park. Trails are not marked well, recommend that Trail Names be added, make sure you take your State Park Map with you, bird blind locations, bird blinds are marked very well, use that as your guide. Many new picnic shelters have been created. Nice work guys. River ran real good, great for floaties, about knee deep.
  • I can not say enough great things about this place! Super easy to find, friendliest people, so many great walking trails, tube rentals! 3 campsite options 1)water and electronic(where i stayed) 2)water only 3)primitive camping Saw so much wildlife! Doe, buck, cardinals, great blue heron, grey squirrel, jack rabbit, wild boar, frog, ducks! It was a blast!
  • Birds, birds everywhere!! 4 blinds bring them right to you. We have a 33' 5th wheel and got site 15. Wonderful spot. Lots of other good spots. Bath house is nice and clean. Hiking, tubing, birding, fishing. Lots to do.
  • Nice park. No internet which we need when working but okay for a break. Worth the trip. Very isolated and had an avariary where we saw the most beautiful birds. Just a quick walk from site. Further down was the river. Beautiful walk and lots of trees and shade.
