  • If you are in the mood for fresh, delicious ice cream in a rural setting, this is the place to go. My personal favorite is the peach, but every flavor is fabulous! Portions are generous--their one scoop in a cone would equal two scoops elsewhere. Milkshakes are also fantastic since they are made with the dairy's ice cream and milk. You can buy pints and gallons of ice cream as well as milk, butter, and frozen meats; you might be disappointed if you don't bring a cooler to take some home with you. Other local items are sold as well and vary from time to time. You might find local honey, homemade peanut butter, or jellies and jams. Children will enjoy the farm animals; several calves are kept near the picnic area. There is a cute cow cartoon board with faces cut out for fun family pictures. You can buy Homeland's milk, ice cream, and butter in select grocery stores, but there is something special about a relaxed drive through the countryside with a stop for a delicious treat.
  • We went on a tour of the dairy to learn about their farm, the cows, and the milking process. Then we tasted the ice cream. The tour involves a hayride out to see the cows in the fields. The tour guide was lovely and very good with the children. The dairy store has a variety of incredible ice cream flavors, fresh milk, cream, butter and cheese (although the cheese is from another farm). We're definitely going back to get some ice cream for my son's birthday and when they have egg nog!
  • Best ice cream around. Friendly staff. Fun to see products direct from the farm.
  • Good chip chocolate mint ice cream. Good flavors and nicely dense ice cream. 2 scoops is a lot of ice cream! They also have beef patties, ground pork, cheeses, eggs, milk, and cream available for sale. Good prices for the amount of ice cream you get. Free WiFi.
  • Great local farm to support that provides amazing ice cream and chocolate milk.
