  • Very amazing view. It was pretty windy when I was there but the view was definitely worth it. You can drive all the way up and then it's a 100m walk to the view point.
  • If you are in Joshua tree NP on quick tour and don't want to do any hike,,you must go to this point as you can drive up to this and just walk around have some great pics(if days is sunny bright and cl...  more »
  • Great overview from the top of the hills, allowing you to see every neighborhood Joshua tree and once again feel him jepichnost'ju. If bring powerful binoculars, Palm Springs can examine in detail.

  • Keys View is the highest road point in Joshua Tree NP. From here, there are views of a good chunk of the Coachella Valley and the Salton Sea in the distance. In the foreground of the view, a keen eye can discern the line of ridges and water features that mark the path of the world famous San Andreas Fault. A short paved trail leads up to the best views. There is a less steep path that should allow persons requiring accessible paths to the vista point. A single-track trail leads west from the parking area across the higher ridges if you are looking for more spectacular views. There is a vault toilet but no running water so plan accordingly. The area can get very windy so beware of loose items such as hats and papers blowing away.
  • The best view in the house during the day, sunset, full moon or a black night. Could stand here all day enjoying the view. Watch out for the bees during the day.
  • Great view of the San Andreas Fault and Salton Sea. Sunset is the best time to go, but get there a little early since parking is limited.
  • I saw one one of the most amazing sunsets tonight! It's worth the drive. Breath taking view!
  • Absolutely stunning view of Palm Springs, from Indio to the Morongo Valley casino.
