  • Great experience in Joshua Tree National Park. Hot but plenty of water for early morning hike. Great primitive camping amongst the desert flora. Several great hikes within the park.
  • Cap rock, so named for the boulder that sits atop this rock formation. You can climb the rock but the best part is walking the short trail through all the Joshua Trees.
  • There are lots of large rocks are mysterious world. I thought, cap rock and skull rock is a lot, but can get bored, so many more laps, with a focus, where better to enjoy the scenery.

  • This area has a very well maintained set of trails and viewpoints that make exploring very easy. Definitely recommend for night viewing as well when shooting astrophotography.
  • Pack a picnic and come here if you're at the park. Nice little area with some good size rocks.
  • A nice "secluded" spot especially at sunset! A decent location to climb some boulders and see the setting sun from atop the rocks!
  • Great quick trail! Perfect place for a picnic and some light bouldering.
  • Good stop in the park
