  • Situated just a short distance from the white rock campground, Arch is easily assessable and literally takes 15minutes to get to max. Great views from under the arch! Park across from campsite #9 and ...  more »
  • The sign at the entrance of the trail is very promising - but then quite many lost. In the distance we saw some people through the area and are in the same direction - unfortunately completely wrong. The arch itself is nice and quite near the parking lot so there can do everyone (on the rocks)

  • There is a short 2/10 mile (0.3 km) round-trip hike to get to one of the few arches found in this park. The arch is not huge so don't expect it to be like the ones found in Utah. The arch has a couple of boulders laying against it you may not get any fantastic natural frame pictures. Still, an interesting site for a small effort. As with all hikes in Joshua Tree, bring water, wear sunblock and a hat as there is little or no shade depending on the time of day.
  • Eh. It's cool and short, but cooler places in the park. Wish I would have come at night like someone else on this suggested.
  • An amazing place to go at night. The view in the back drop of the milkway galaxy looks brilliant.
  • Amazing park with marvelous views of huge stones, exhibits and camping places.
  • Fun & easy to climb at sunset or sunrise when it's not too hot.
