  • Busy Fall day in Jim Thorpe. You have to go see the Jail. Creepy but OMG it was an awesome tour. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

  • Found the old jail with the Molly Maguire's connection interesting. The tour guide was young and appeared nervous. I don't think he knew as much about the jail as some of the other tour guides. Overal...  read more »
  • The history of this jail is amazing, sad, and tragic. To walk in the same cell blocks and on the same tiers as the molly maguires is eye opening and pulls at my heart. This is exactly why we need to preserve our history and teach our children so that these injustices will hopefully never be repeated. To read the list and hear the names of people who were hanged by a "jury" that consisted of no women, no Irish, no coal miners and all with very little to no evidence made me tear up. To hear the conditions that these men and boys were expected to work in.... I urge every person to take this tour, and then also to remember than injustices still happen. Keep history alive!
  • Interesting place to visit, the tour is worth the price and is pretty thorough. This place is not for the meek of heart or those who are turned off by real life correctional facilities and the way inmates are treated in previous years.
  • Eerie and strange but fun...if your into that type of thing you should definitely go & check it out, if not its still educational, historical, and interesting. Pricing was fair, our tour guide seemed new but was still able to make it a good experience all around.
  • Great tours. Informative guides and neat history.
  • Pretty cool tour, something educational and fun that won't break the bank.
