  • We had a great time digging in the dirt for crystals, and actually found a few. This was almost therapeutic after being on the road for 7 hours as part of a road trip. If you go, plan on taking garden...  more »
  • Had a wonderful experience at the crystal mine and loved the tour down to the mine site. If you take the tour, you get to see all the rocks that have been found in the museum. You won’t believe how la...  more »
  • It was quite interesting, also for adults. We stopped at the nearby Walmart and bought a small shovel and some gloves before. I can recommend that. We saw the prices on the internet as $10 for entranc...  more »

  • Great place! Very friendly staff. Has full hook ups for RVs along with nice restrooms that have several showers. Even has a laundry room. And all for $13. I Highly recommend this place.
  • ***There are *TWO* Coleman mines in Arkansas. RON Coleman & JIM Coleman. This is Ron Coleman. Drive directly to the pin shown on google maps to their office, where you pay $20 per adult and sign a liability waiver. Hours are till 5:30pm SUMMER, 4:30pm rest of year. This site is known for LARGE quartz points. Twin Creeks Crystal Mine has better medium clusters, and JIM Coleman (AKA Miller Mountain Mine) has better smaller points and smaller clusters.
  • I had a great time on the tour, I learned so much about the history and growth process of the natural crystals in such a short amount of time. The tour guide was very informative! Thank you Lauren!
  • Excellent!!! We've rock hunted all over the country this is one of the best. Unique crystals and a lot of them. A lot of room to move and dig. I want to return soon.
  • We loved this place! We spent the whole day with our 5 and 8 year old. We came home with some beautiful quartz and several great crystals. We recommend bring a heavy duty hand spade, a 3 prong hand fork/tiller thing, a metal colander for washing your finds, and a few buckets. If you dig you will find some great crystals! Also on the road down toward the pit we found some along the side. There are also some to be found around the washing table that other people did not want. The giftstore is well-organized and the staff is friendly and helpful. Very clean and well-kept place. Truly a sight to see!! Beautiful, fun, educational.... Don't miss this place!
