  • The Historic Trilogy is well worth the time and effort to park and walk along the New Jersey shoreline. The Central Railway of New Jersey Terminal sets the stage, with Ellis Island next along the walk...  read more »

  • Worth the trip to the base of the statue with a wonderful landscape of the city and the island's French gift.

  • Great park that we didn't realize was there. The kids wanted to see Lady Liberty, but we were running out of time. We stopped at the park and got a great view of the city and Lady Liberty right at sunset. The park is very open, with lots of lighting and a broad stretch along the water for walking, biking or picture taking.
  • One of the best places in this area to bike. Miles of biking roads and trails. Great for walking along the Hudson river as well. There is a really long walkway along the river. Great for flying kites, or summer barbecue or parties. You get beautiful views of Lady Liberty. Liberty science center is a nice attraction for kids.
  • The tickets and security are very very far apart. We were traveling with handicapped individual. No option but to walk. Painfully you walk by long stretches of road you cannot use; frustrating us. We could have driven handicapped party closer to security check point and then dropped them off. But this isn't allowed. On our return trip from the tour, we found a disabled vet who was unable to do the walk back to the car. We asked several employees for assistance for this (unrelated) disabled man - and we were refused any help. Horrible experience. Horrible human relations. Shell of a location.
  • Amazing views. Free parking. Spacious and open areas. Only downside is its always crowded but who cares?!! Go and have some fun!!
  • Nice view of Manhattan. The playground area was just ok - no swings, which was disappointing for the 4 yr old in our group. There were a handful of people using the perimeter track for biking and jogging. Mosquitoes were an issue around dusk.
