  • Basically paying $5 to walk around old beat up vintage automobiles and mining apparatus. Some of the stuff is cool, but it's a self guided "tour". Spend your money on a margarita in town instead.  more »
  • I think the title is the review. Certainly the old trucks are interesting, but it's still primarily a junkyard you can walk through after paying the admission. The owner is genius, people pay to walk ...  more »
  • Gold King Mine - before current owners came here (after mysterious fire) there was a house of Father John. There never was a mine there, much less one that mined gold.. Now it is not even a ghost town...  more »

  • Not anything to waste your time on. The guy who started this just seems like a hoarder but found a mountain where none of its likely to ever be taken down from. Very little has anything to do with the lining and mostly just has old vintage cars. Definitely not worth driving to Jerome to see. You'd be better off spending your time in the actual town outside of it
  • Essentially a junk yard full of rusting antiques and old trucks. It killed me to see all those great old trucks rusting away. Restored they'd be really great. I would have liked to see more than the entrance to the gold mine. Cleaned up and better organized the place would have potential
  • I absolutely loved this place! This is an abandoned mine that the late Don Robertson bought and turned into a lot for his collection of... Well, stuff. Specifically American stuff, with an emphasis on 20th century industrial and consumer goods. It might appear a junkyard to the undiscerning eye, but it really is an uncurated museum of sorts. Placards denote rare, interesting, and valuable cars and objects that are generally left in "as-is" condition. Highlights of the collection are an assortment of Ford Model A's and trucks, a generator from a power plant, and a Studebaker racecar. Admission is $5. Honestly, you can't do anything for $5. Visitors to Jerome should also check out the Hilltop Deli for lunch.
  • Your basically loading someone money to look at someone's trash! I wasn't overly impressed. But I was on vacation so I said after the hell. It was cool. You'll see some pretty cool looking stuff but not the highlight of my stay.
  • The place is like a giant junk yard. You pay to walk through someone's property that has a bunch of old rusted parts to cars and tools. There's only a few objects in the whole collection that actually apply to the mine.
