Jemez Springs Bath House, Jemez Springs

4.4
The Jemez Springs Bath House was built in the 1870's and houses 8 over-sized, private cement tubs, 4 massage rooms and a lovely gift shop. The mineral water issues from the ground at 159-189* and is piped straight into the Bath House. Some of the mineral water is diverted into holding tanks overnight to cool so that you have control of the temperature of your soak.

  • My sister has been to the Bath House over 10 times but this was my first visit. It's reasonably priced, the baths are a must do. The water comes out at 190 degrees but you balance it out with cold...  more »
  • I was driving through Jemez Springs on my way to Albuquerque when I saw a sign for the bath house. They were able to take me in 15 minutes. I got to pick a bath salt for an add’l price and decided on....  more »

  • Very nice place, relaxing, peaceful and beautiful. The hot springs soaks are awesome. Great place to picnic, camp, hike, rappel, and just enjoy yourself, family and nature without all the hustle and bustle of the city. Very quiet and relaxed community.
  • This is such a cool place! An amazing gem in the mountains of New Mexico. The staff is incredibly friendly and the facility is very nice, especially considering that it's been there since the 1800s! They recently remodeled and it looks great! There are individual tubs for soaking in the mineral water and individual rooms for massage therapy. They have a cute little gift shop with some nice stuff in it that isn't found in big stores. This place is well worth a visit! A soak and a massage always does me good!
  • Great place to get your soak on! Affordable and it's a clean facility. Friendly staff as well! I appreciate being able to adjust the water temperature that suits your needs.
  • A wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate, especially after a few days of camping. You can set you own temperature of water in the tubs and you can fully recline in the large bathing tubs. They offer towel rentals for a buck, and massages are available by appointment. It's a pretty wonderful place.
  • Best masseuses in NM state! And private natural hot spring tubes to soak in. The staff is always great. :)
