  • One of the best places I have ever gone camping. Fish were biting in the lake (there is a creek you can fish in too). The lake is small but good fishin! The campground has a toddler park, pit toilets ...  more »
  • Arrival by car is worth 5 dollars. All offers for picnic and recreation. You cannot swim, but you can fish. Many boats with fishermen's catch. Around the pleasant stroll. By the way, the Lake was by human hands, just put the seawall. If you drive a little farther down the road, you can find a place for the free children's fishing. It seems every child possible pick up no more than 5 fish regardless of size and weight.

  • So wonderful! Bring works as bait and you'll get bites. Kids under 12 can fish without a license. There's a wonderful path back in the campground.
  • We camped here in April and it was beautiful. Campsites were lovely and facilities were clean. I think we camped at site 16, which was pretty secluded and had a nice trail to the creek which our dog loved. Great little hiking trail along the other side of the creek that takes you to the lake as well. Will definitely be back!
  • Love the lake and just being there is like breath of fresh air and fishing is good
  • Overall, this was a very nice area. There are nice geological formations in the area and beautiful scenery. There is some nice fishing spots, and it usually isn't too crowded. The camping areas are nice, and there are functional amenities, but no showers. Again, overall, it is very good.
  • Great location to escape the New Mexico heat offering hiking, no wake boating, and camping. Campsites have fire rings, grills, and tables. Can get a little busy on the weekend and holidays.
