4.4/5 based on 1,300+ reviews on the web
Georgia Sea Turtle Center is dedicated to the rehabilitation and protection of injured, sick, and disabled turtles. Founded as an organization for conservation, the center conducts research and educational programs to increase awareness and support for sea turtles. Though it's a working hospital, the facility is still open to the public. Visit to learn more about turtle conservation, and, of course, say hello to some of the patients. If you're coming from the beach, take note that you must wear shoes, a shirt, and cover your swimsuit. Georgia Sea Turtle Center is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, Jekyll Island Edition.
