The Museum of Measurement and Time is a nonprofit corporation with a Board of Directors. Exhibits of Land Surveying, Clocks and various measuring devices are on display. There is no charge to visit the museum. Donations are welcome, proceeds are used to maintain and improve the museum.

Most of the items on exhibit in the museum are from the private collection of Johnny and Edith Ingram. Life long collectors of antiques. The Ingram's are dedicated to sharing their love of antiques and are committed to maintaining the museum.

Visitors to Jefferson are able to walk in history by visiting this early Texas town and the many historic homes. Now that journey is extended with a museum that tells the tale of the land.
