  • The DNR park website really doesn't do this park justice. From reading the description online, I couldn't tell how much fun I'd have at this park. I came here with my siblings and cousin (ages 15-22) ...  read more »
  • I live just on the other side of the park, and just the scenery alone is amazing, there are many species of animals here.... The History and Spiritual feel of the American Indian in this area is very calming, and peaceful...
  • One of Maryland's 72 state parks, Rock's provides scenic views of Harford County from atop the King and Queen's seat. There are several pull offs where you can start your hike, or for a small fee, you can drive up to the top. There are several picnic areas in the park as well that provide fishing, tubing, picnicking, and grilling opportunities. Rocks is also home to Maryland's second tallest cascade waterfall! Kilgore Falls has a small parking lot, so arrive early in the summer! Often best to visit in the off season to avoid the crowds.
  • Good short tube run down river, slow and safe. Shallow most of the way between the to big picnic areas. Can get crowed fast get there early if you want to park
  • Love Rock State Park. Great for swimming, hiking, tubing, picnics, etc. The possibilities are endless. King and Queen seat are a must see part of the park. Open from dawn to dusk.
  • This is a beautiful park filled with lots of easy hikes.
