  • I had a good time walking around the museum. Many exhibits and I could wander around the gardens for hours.  more »
  • Gardens not fully recovered from past hurricane damage, but interior art selection was much more interesting than we expected. Good to visit at least once.  more »

  • The gardens were very beautiful. We went on Tuesday and didn’t have to pay to get in which was a surprise. It was a bit smaller than what I’m used to but the collection of artwork was beautiful. This museum is delightful, offering a nice collection of art. The building itself is lovely, well designed, and made for a great experience. Don't miss the gardens. They are still recovering from Hurricane Irma, but still beautiful. The Cummer Oak is absolutely amazing.
  • The Cummer is a great family place. Wonderful activities for kids and they have free nights. Its a great way to enjoy time, see some beautiful art and get out of the house without spending a lot of money. Beautiful outside gardens with music and drinks available. Wonderful place to sit and enjoy the weather and the St. Johns River.
  • We loved the hometown feel of this museum. The exhibits were wonderful and they make it fun with interactive exhibits. The lavender martini was wonderful, lunch at the cafe and service were both delicious and there was live music in the beautiful garden. They pack so much into a small space and it's local! Love it!
  • Always a treat for me to explore the Cummer Museum. I hadn't visited since the hurricane did its destruction in 2017 so I was curious to see how the beautiful gardens looked almost 2 yrs later. I was very pleased! The gardens are magnificent! Took a tour of both gardens. Ended up in the cafe where I enjoyed the delicious crabcake sandwich!! A great solo date night with myself!
  • Although I consider myself a somewhat cultured person, I had never been to an art museum. I was quite pleased with my experience. I was upset that I missed the surrealist exhibit by one day. The porcelain was breathtaking. I only took pictures outside. Dang it!!! The gardens were viewable, but not open because of the hurricanes. There is an OLMSTED garden there!!!
