I was visiting Jacksonville for work. I lived there from 1996-98. This mall was hands down the absolute best. On my visit this week I was so disappointed. This mall has gone down and has not been kept up properly. I visited Forever 21..my final straw was going into the restroom. Prior to going into the restroom. I had a tone of items for my daughter to purchase to bring back home but I was so disgusted I left the restroom and went straight to the car to the airport and just set for hours until it was time for me to depart. I can't believe the mall administration allows this poor practice. My excitement was killed by that nasty restroom. In my opinion, if they aren't attentive to the public restroom in that store what else is being neglected? Are the clothes clean? Is bacteria and filth floating around in the back areas where the clothes are. stored unto they are put out? Who knows. Highly disappointed! SMH...
There's a lot to offer here and I love the food court choices. The mall looks kind of small but it contains a lower level and an upper level. attached to several large department stores. There's plenty of parking. I prefer to use the parking garage at Dillards just because it's easiest to grab a space and not worry about hassling with finding a spot.
The cleanliness of the food court is questionable at best. I love that the mall is always adding new different stores that appeal to all demographics. Overall the mall isn't bad at all. Well worth a visit.
I was very disappointed with the service at Belks. I was treated as if trying to buy a top end handbag was troublesome! 60 minutes my daughter and I got the runaround about opening the case to choose matching wallets. We left and went to another high end department store. The moment we walked to the purses a very nice young lady named Tamara, introduced herself and treated us like were the only customers in the store!
Certainly better than the Regency mall. Nice selection of stores for young and old. The food court is nice and is decently kept. My only real complaint is how far away it is.
