  • I like the boat ramp the kids like the park..i went there before work one day plenty of parking.....
  • This is a beautiful park. They have a lake a boat ramp and all sorts of things to do. This truly is for the family
  • This is a real nice park, plus there is a boat ramp to launch, guess what.., yes, you got that right. A boat..
  • The park is within walking distance of the house. It's a good walk to take the dogs on 3 Mile round trip. We get a little variety by being able to walk in the woods. And then we get to go to the Pavilion and look out over the creek.
  • The playground is a nice size with plenty of shade for those hot day, however it should first be checked for cat POOP before letting the kiddies play. The poop has been found many times on the equipment from the community of cats that keeps getting larger thanks to the one guy who feeds them. If you see him I would stay away, he gets very upset if you walk your dog at the park. The fishing pier is still standing, but boards are in direr need of replacement. The screws stick up a good 1/4" from where the wood has rotten/worn away. The pavilion smells like cat urine, and usually has explicit graffiti. The educational exhibits haven't been updated in the three years I've been going and whatever they used to clean the last round of graffiti off made them unreadable. There is usually litter on the ground, but where in Jacksonville isn't there.
  • What I didn't like, a friend of mine rented pavilion, #2, they got there late and some other people were in their space, they couldn't show a receipt for their payment, then we went to pavilion #1 and guess what, after we set up, the other person who rented pavilion #1 came. She threatened to call the police we said go ahead. Needless to say, the other people decided to just go to pavilion #3. They're should be a better system at this park, some supervision as to where people are to go to their assigned spaces, instead of telling their clients to just call the cops. This is not business like in any way at all.
  • This place has a boat launch, a covered dock, and a playground. It's fun to watch the boats come in and out.
  • Lots of trees. Great dock and playground
