  • We went here on a Saturday in July 2016. It's a strange location, right in the middle of a residential street! It appears to be in someone's back yard. The staff are very friendly, and my kids enjoyed...  read more »
  • It's small but everyone that works and volunteers there does it because they love being there and love the animals. My daughters got a chance to dance with a cockatoo when a volunteer told us he'd dan...  read more »
  • The zoo has a variety of animals, and the layout is well organized. Children can get close to the animals, and they even offer up close touch encounters. It is clean and well kept.
  • My husband had a business trip in Jacksonville so I found myself with a lot of free time. I saw that this zoo was nearby so I drove over there Friday afternoon. It was they perfect way to spend the day. It was quiet and relaxed, and a lovely place. The owner is so kind and even though I was an adult welcomed me to come and listen and brought out some animals for me to pet. I had so much fun I definitely recommend a visit.
  • Quaint, privately owned zoo. The zoo keeper was awesome and took time to show us several animals up close. He was very knowledeable and answered all our questions. Great place to take a family and you can't beat the price.
  • Not going to lie, totally judged this book by its cover. The parking lot is tiny and the entrance to the zoo appears to be in the middle of a residential area. It's all very strange and shady looking from the outside/street view. However, we decided to give it a chance. Glad we did. It's a cute little zoo with a surprising variety of animals. We brought two three year olds and they had a total boat feeding the animals. There is a section that the kids could pet various animals. The man who brought the animals out one at a time was great with the children. He spent a lot of time showing the animals and letting the kids pet them. It's not a large zoo by any means. You wouldn't spend more than a couple hours there, but there is a nice picnic area to enjoy lunch as well. Overall, a great experience.
  • This place was AMAZING! It looks tiny and I'll be honest when you go in you may be a little worried because the tickets are handed out from a shack and then you wonder into the woods. But they give you some corn and that makes all the animals want to come out and see you. All the habitats are clean the woods provide shade so they are not too hot. There were flipping baby goats that just wonder around loose and at the end there was a very excited man who brings out animals to play with. Great for kids or even just a date.
  • Wonderful zoo. Amazing owner and volunteers. Everyone was nice and the zoo was clean and wellworth the money i paid. I liked it more than the big ones in birmingham and texas. Such a peaceful not so crowded fun place
