Awesome time with Captain Roger. Treated my dad and son on a fishing trip. My dad thinks very highly of himself when it comes to fishing but even he learned some new techniques. Started off slow cause the fish were being stubborn but as the day went on Captain made sure we caught some fish. Bring some water, snacks, sunscreen and insect repellent. I loved the enthusiasm of the captain as we were reeling the fish in. You can tell he has a real passion for what he does. He’s also knowledgeable about the area and gave some facts along the journey. I made a reservation a week in advance to secure a spot. Clear communication on what to expect and where to meet. Definitely recommended.

Roger took my son Andre and me on our first ever trip fishing. Taught us everything we need to know to do it ourselves and share the knowledge! We caught a lot, but for keepers we caught 3 Redfish, 2 Silver Trout, & a Flounder! With a little help from Roger, Andre caught a 24 inch Redfish!

This was my third trip with Capt Roger Bump, first trip was my son and I, second we brought along my best friends son , this year my best friend. We didn’t know we would break our record of trout , 15 keepers last yr. But with Roger he said lets keep fishing the bite is on!! So 23 trout keepers and a keeper flounder later we decided to head in for cleaning then travel Home of 2.5 hrs to Valdosta ga. Amazing trip full of teaching us tricks for the Unfair lure, getting to know each person on boat, we talked tides, slopes, gear and fish movements. Don’t carry a watch because you do not want the trip to be over. We fished one Unfair smack shad all day and it caught any type fish with not one bite mark on them. Roger is the most expert in the Jacksonville inshore area, navigating those creeks for 25 years. I went to Ace hardware and Glen Shelton told me what gear Roger is using, didn’t just point me to the aisle. I encourage any Kayaker to go so like me, you can use the knowledge gained for trips in creeks you frequent.

My son and I had a great time with Rob. He is a great captain and a patient teacher. My son enjoyed catching lots of fish!

Went on a fishing trip with Capt Roger Bump and my son who was down from Maryland visiting. He came to work with a game plan and executed perfectly we hit a spot or two with fish in cooler and then stopped at a fishy looking spot where the show began fish after fish cooler was locked as we limited out. It’s terrible when you have to leave fish to go finish your day targeting another fish somewhere else. Thank you Capt Rog Bump Memories my son and I will have forever what a special day. 🙏
