  • This course has a great layout with water on 16 of 18 holes. It is my favorite course in Jacksonville. The course is in great shape. A great value for the money. Ate lunch and the food was excellent. ...  more »

  • Good track and great bang for your buck! Rough is typically thick though and makes it tough to find balls just off the fairway. So hit 'em straight. Challenging course, traps could use some more sand after the hurricane came through they're pretty thin. I like the course.
  • If you haven't played Cimarone it is in excellent shape. The rough and fairways are in great shape and the greens are in the best shape I've seen in a long time. Rates are very fair and always a friendly and great round. Thank you very much to the new owners and wonderful staff.
  • Good test of your skills. Water on every hole. Course was in very hood condition.
  • Solid course, the employees are nothing to write home about but the course is much better shape than it's been in years prior. Prices are usually decent but they don't manage pace of play or anything that much. There is multiple water hazards on pretty much every hole
  • I would have liked to have played this course because it looked like my kind of place, however, after I arrived, confirmed I had a tee time as a single and got a bucket of balls for the range, I went to the first tee where a backlog had already begun because the course started the day on No. 10, then switched to No. 1, causing a convergence of players making the turn and others starting their round all at the same time on the same tee. Odd as that was, at my appointed time, a foursome arrived. I asked their time, they confirmed it was the same time as mine, I mentioned that's strange because they grouped me with them, then proceeded to return to the clubhouse. There, the youngster who was obviously a trainee informed me that the threesome arrived with a fourth. Nobody, however, informed me. He allowed the fourth to join them, which I didn't learn until they arrived at the tee box. His solution was to group me with another single who had a time after that foursome, which would have put us as a twosome in the midst a busy day on the course made worse by switching from a No. 10 start to a No. 1 start in the same morning. I asked why me, a registered golfer, was bumped in favor of a non-registered golfer. Perhaps they were members and they didn't want to rock the boat. I don't know because the kid didn't seem particularly knowledgable. Then it got worse. I declined and suggested they just refund me and we'll call it a day, and that's when a woman who appeared to be a manager-type arrived. She never spoke to me, coached the young man on how to refund my card. No apologies. No asking me what happened. No offers on how to make it right. Not so much as eye contact. They even charged me for the range balls. As I reached the door, I heard her ask the kid "tell me what happened." She asked the wrong person that question. I gave the course average ratings because it may have been good or it may have been bad. I don't know. I didn't get to play it. What I do know is the management of the golf operation there is sorely in need of an overhaul if that is their idea of how to treat customers. As i pulled away, I saw three groups waiting on the No. 1 tee. Leaving was the best decision I made all day, and I won't be back.
