  • We drove almost 3 hrs with a 4yr, 2yr, & baby. When we get there they tell us they're closed. On the website it says 361 days a year. They are closed due to rain. How am I supposed to know it rained there? I live 3 hrs away. The website does NOT say they may close due to weather. It says 361 days a year. They man in the visitor center was unapologetic. My kids were crying. He just said we can't predict mother nature. He said people were calling to see if they're open. I cannot call when you don't open until 10:00. We were over half way there by that time. Plus why would I call when your website says you are open. It does not say depending on weather. I could see animals outside where we were parked. He could've at the very least let us look at the ones that were near. He said they had washed out areas. Well the whole place wasn't washed out. My kids are very sad & that angers a mother!
  • So much Fun! I love the idea of getting to drive thru and see all the animals. It was a lot of fun to get to feed them and some were a little scary because they stick there head right in the car! I loved this place!
  • This place is AWESOME! I have been several times and have sent many of my own guests to visit the Drive Thru Safari. We are always hearing good things about the safari park and the well taken care of animals. I encourage anyone of any age to take a drive thru and feed all the animals. This place is very clean and you could drive just about any car through the park itself. Hope you enjoy your drive!
  • Cherokee Trace is great - great customer service, beautiful property, amazing animals! You can tell the animals are happy and well cared for. Such a fun activity that allows you to experience nature.
  • Had such a fantastic time! My family laughed the whole time. The animals are great! The staff was friendly as well.
