Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Jackson
(1.5/5 based on 480+ reviews on the web)
At Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, try out different rides and slides from gentle to adrenaline-pumping. Head down a 40 m (132 ft) thrill slide through a tunnel and out of a giant funnel. Raft down a massive cobra's body, soak yourself in a 2,600 cu m (696,000 gallon) wave pool, and experience the twists and turns of a 109 m (357 ft) tunnel in total darkness at speeds of 64 km/h (40 mph). The most daring may want to brave a six-story drop and a 550 m (1,800 ft) complex of slides, while the least daring can float gently down a lazy river. • It has lots of good waterslide, but our favorite is the King Cobra, there is also the Tornado, which is similar to the Hersheypark funnel slide except it's at Six Flags.
  • It is a good place to be. I have been to other water park in New Jersey and Orlando. I think this one is not good as Action Park in New Jersey. The entertainment is not thrilling! But, on the other ha...  more »

  • I'm thankful I was able to access Hurricane Harbor for free due to my season pass because it's simply not worth the cost. They allow simply too many people into the park for it to be fun for anyone. Many rides require a line to get a tube, and then a second line to wait for the actual ride. Be prepared to wait hours in line or be crammed like sardines in the lazy river. The lifeguards and staff were incredibly well-mannered, so that was indeed a blessing. We will NOT be returning ever. You can have a better experience at other water parks.
  • Went with the family on a Sunday with 86 degrees weather. VERY VERY busy. Spent 2-3 hours in EACH ride. in a matter of 5 hours we only had time to go to 2 rides and eat. I recommend you go on a weekday. I definitely recommend the tornado. Food was WAYYY over priced and there was no where to sit. I give the food a 4/10 rate. Over all it was good family bonding and this park would be AMAZING if it weren't for the LONG lines.
  • I'm in the car looking at the reviews and I have to say u people are spoiled. Long lines and cheap food and expensive parking. Tell me what amusement park doesn't have long lines expensive gross food and expensive parking like come on
  • Hello. This is the first time I ever went to six flags and it was for my birthday. The experience at hurricane harbor was awesome. Most rides were really thrilling. Although there is a lot of people it is still fun. But the only problem was this one ride called "The Big Bambu and Reef Runner". The problem was that this ride you had to wait on a long line because when people get off the ride they leave the 4 person raft to float on the water and no one would push it. This causes the raft to take such a long time to get to the lift also causing more than an hour wait.
  • We arrived at hurricane harbor and after being there for 20 minutes was told that the park was going to close. It was 11:20 am and mind you they open at 10:30... when we inquired on why they said it was the weather. Mind you it was raining a little bit. And it was clearing up. Didn't understand why it would be closing. Then went to guest services to be told that they don't refund. So if they decide to close down why would they not refund?! Oh we will give you a voucher to be used until January 2017. Oh ok. Thank you for giving me a voucher to be used in NJ for a water park in the middle of winter.. where does that make any sense . Then she said ok we will give you a voucher to be used at the theme park. So you can't stay here due to the weather but they aren't closing the theme park for the weather. In all honesty it was the the weather. It was the headcount. There weren't alot of people there and I'm guessing didn't want to pay all the employees there for a days work. It wouldn't compensate. But to treat people this way is ridiculous. Your can't be opened for 30 minutes and then make a decision to close but allow people to come in and use their tickets to be told 2o minutes later that you are closing. That is very deceptive!
