  • It's never crazy busy. The aquarium area is amazing and tranquil. I love the preschool room with a slide. It's like a private chick-fil-a play area.
  • My 8yr old loves this place because it has dinosaur bones on display and he likes the fish and snakes. He really enjoyed the goosebumps exhibit that's there right now. On certain days they have special presentations. We have a family membership and that helped cut down on the cost of repeat visits. My son also likes to walk along the nature trails. This museum may be boring to young children or people who aren't into nature.
  • This is a hidden gem. A great full day event to take children to. There are permanent exhibits, rotating special exhibits, ongoing lectures in the auditorium, and beautiful walking tours through some very diverse environments from bluffs, to river bottoms to swamp lands over boardwalk nature paths.
  • Everytimw I go there is always something new to find or learn. Going through it you get to see pictures, animals, and more to look at. It's great for kids and adults. Also a great place to go on anyday.
  • It's a fun place to take the kids. Have some animals and a couple of exhibits.
