Experience true cowboy culture at Jackson Hole Rodeo Grounds. This rodeo practices a tradition that has existed here since the first settlers arrived over a century ago. The spectacle includes two hours of events like cattle roping, barrel racing, bull riding, bareback riding, a dance off, and competitions for kids. A full concession stand sells classic American fare including hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, and beer. Buy tickets in advance to avoid long lines (child and senior rates are only available online). If you don't order online, get there an hour early for the best chance to score tickets. Check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. • We had so much fun at the rodeo. We were there for the last show of the season, and there was a good crowd. The refreshments were good and reasonably priced under the circumstances. If you have a chan...  read more »

  • Although Jackson Hole can seem a little like an Epcot production, the rodeo is down to earth and authentic. This is a local and family event with plenty of displays of skill, courage, and horsemanship. I mean, where else can you see a bull named Jellybean toss a rider around like a rag doll for entertainment. My favorite event was the calf scramble where about 100 kids under 12 chase a calf around the arena. Everybody had fun, even the calves. Check this out for a real taste of Wyoming.
  • This is a small town rodeo. I'm from Ogden, UT and am used to the big Pioneer Days rodeo in July with professional athletes competing from all over, but as far as small town rodeos go this is a fun environment for the kids. The seating, covered and uncovered, is good and allows good views of the events. Everything is more laid back, but the Cowboys love what they are doing. The night we went there was barrel racing, bull riding, team roping, and some audience participation activities for the kids.
  • An all around great show. My only complaint is the super loud music.
  • Wilson family does a great job with this event. Aanouncers explain what is going on, events were cool to watch. Enjoyable experience during our vacation.
  • Great little rodeo
