  • Sometimes waiting in long lines on a hot day is just not the best idea. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is the water park side of Great Adventure. Lots of fun rides and water activities. Can be super crowd...  more »
  • When we visit our daughter and her family in the summer we always take the Grand kids to Six Flags Water Park, we feel it is safe and a clean water experience. Always have a great time.  more »
  • We travel to the States for a long time, and actively visit water parks, so there is something to compare. Were in the second half of August 2017 onwards. This Park does not differ in any original variety of slides-all pretty standard. What especially caught my eye-a very large queue due to bad organization of operation of amusement. You can wait on the stairs an hour to slip once and this! water park!, when do you expect the nude, wet and you riding the wind. All modern aquaparks is color display readiness slides (red-you can't go green-went), all at the discretion of the staff member who can zazevatsja, escape, etc. which slides more idle than exploited. Voobshchem expectations greatly overshadowed a visit to this place. In akvaparkakh accustomed to tire from a large number of moving the stairs ... here you get tired of waiting.

  • @SixFlags the worse experience ever! Went to six flags hurricane harbor on Sunday July 2, we bought the tickets in advance and we were a party of 18 we had kids with us. Three of my cousins came a little bit later because we all drive separately and once they got there they were told they could go in because the park was full while there kids were inside already!! And then tried to offer them to get free tickets to six flags!! Why would they go to six flags while the whole family is in hurricane harbor!!! And then we tried to ask for a refund because we did drive 2 and half hours and they tell us they can always use that for other days!!! I think it's ridiculous!!! We want our money back!!!!!!
  • Today was great. No long lines at all. Went in pretty fast and great parking. Wish I had it like that all the time. Lol. My family had a great time.
  • HORRIBLE SERVICE! WE (my family if 5 and another family of 6) decided to spend the hottest day of the year at Hurricane Harbor! Sounds like a great idea even thou you know it's gonna be busy (it is on a Sunday). As we arrive we see sign stating long lines to be expected... Signs we have seen before... No problems yet.. WE waited in like about an hour or so to get in security and the ticket gates... still not to bad... WE went directly to a drink station to fill up our REFILLABLE DRINK CUP and waited over one hour and forty five minutes to fill up our drinks!!! As I was in line the customer in front of me stated.. the two line that were at this station have been said you can only buy food in one line and refill in another.. No problem but there was no signs stating this!!! To top it one cashier left 3 times while I was in line and a supervisor came over and switched the lines again!!!! After 3 hours my kids finally get the the water!! Now we are hungry!!! So I wait another hour and 45 minutes to get Food!!!! Sorry but Six Flags Great Adventure Needs To Do Better on busy days. Maybe train the staff and supervisor in what to do when you are at Capacity!!!!! Very disappointed with this vist!😡
  • My husband and I decided to take our 2 boys (ages 2 and 5) to Hurricane Harbor this past Sunday 95 degree day. In first going through security we were told we had to bring our floatation devices (kiefer bubbles and swim ways kick board) back to the car. The life vests that were provided kept chocking my infant and toddler. Maybe they should have done some more research on the best floatation devices. At several points in the day we stopped to ask for directions and every time the young employee said they didn't know where that was and they were new. They should spend extra time acclimating staff with the park. We enjoyed some time at the Caribbean Cove which should be noted on the app said it was closed. They should keep the app updated. Then went to the lazy river which was packed like sardines so we couldn't find a tube, disappointing but not necessarily the parks fault. The Caribbean Cove was then closed due to water clarity. It was white smoky looking. The lifeguard supervisor explained what was going on to those who asked and said it could be 30-60 minutes to fix IF they can fix it, if not that section would be closed the rest of the day. It was Closed the reminder of the day. We refilled our season cup the first time with little wait but after that we waited over an hour to refill and get food later in the day. The food truck that we had previously got lunch at by Caribbean Cove closed at 4:07. Why??? Most of the other places don't do the meal plan so we had to go to the big place at the front of the park with the longest line. You can imagine how that wait went with one toddler whining, one crying and my husband angry with me for suggesting that we go to Hurricane Harbor. The food had been touch by other customers because no employee was there to help, the supervisor closed the left side making the wait even longer. So I asked the supervisor why. She told me that they don't have enough staff because the minors had to leave. I responded by telling her they should hire effectively. I am a manager at at 28,000 square foot well known retail store and if I closed my door or made customers wait that long I would be terminated and the company would have many negative reviews. This is not how you run a business. The employees need to be retrained, hire more employees, split the shifts if they are minors, etc. To top it off on our way out of the park we noticed that at 4:45 the Lazy River was also closed, again Why???? The park closes at 6:30 Right??? I am angry and disappointed as a season pass member who lives 15 minutes away but I would be even more angry if we lived far away and paid for the parking and tickets for the day.
  • Wait times are crazy long and the staff seem to be told specific ways to pace out the lines, but it just leaves you standing in the sun for close to an hour while the Flash Pass people could cruise through multiple times. Also, several staff seemed undertrained considering the park has been open for over a month. Pointed out what appeared to be blood on one of the tubes to a ride assistant and her response was, "Gross. I'm not sure what to do about that." Then she walked away. I'm hoping this was a rare occurrence and someone actually dealt with the situation after we left.
