  • The park has great hiking trails. Its clean and well kept. The staff at the museum is well versed in Civil War knowledge. They are also very friendly and will answer any question you might have. My family and I had a wonderful time. I you do decide to hike bring water and comfortable shoes. The paths are wide and clear.
  • Great historic site and staff
  • Great place for day trip hiking
  • Wonderful site to learn about a crucial siege that was overshadowed by events upriver at Vicksburg.
