  • The park is really pretty. Take the hike below the falls. I would not recommend using the bathrooms at the pool. They are awful. An independent takes care of the pool area.  more »
  • Such a great family retreat. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Great areas to fish and go swimming. Everything is clean and safe.  more »
  • We travel to this park with an annual pass. Recently, a co-worker told us to go down the road next to the Dollar General, which is still part of the park. You will find an old power plant that has par...  more »

  • I love camping here is a beautiful little Hidden Gem in the woods of Jackson Georgia. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful the campsites are amazing. And for those of you with children they have a cool, Putt-Putt, hiking, and just about anything else that you could possibly want on a camping trip.
  • Its pretty but nothing really for kids ages 10-15 and BE READY FOR TICKS. lots and lots of ticks. They fall from trees and there at the trails. Son had 4 ticks on him i had a few. I am glad my dog wasnt with us. But if you have no kids and love trails this is for you.
  • My family and I enjoyed the camping and the trails to the falls. The sites and facilities are well maintained. The issue we had was related to the reservation system on the website. After a heated debate with the staff and a ranger we were able to work things out to our liking. Fortunately the reservation system will go site specific in June or July. That didn't help us this trip.
  • What a beautiful place. Worthy of a visit whenever passing by - I can't believe I've skipped over this place so much in my prior travels! If you love the outdoors, this is worth a stop, even if it's only a short one. Enjoy the falls, the trails, and the views. Gorgeous.
  • It was a great place to take the kids. They loved it. One of the park rangers was walking around with his dog, that was the high light of their summer. They can't stop talking about it.
