  • Well worth the drive for these beautiful flowers in springtime. Take time, go and enjoy! We have been here before and always enjoy. Afterwards- go and enjoy the wines in Amador..  more »
  • We visited on Friday, March 31, 2017. It was a nice, sunny day and the drive took us about two hours from the Pocket area of Sacramento, CA. There is a large parking lot across from the entrance. A sm...  more »
  • Sad that daffodils have such a short bloom time. The area had opened but then closed again due to rains and muddy pathways. We went the day they reopened and so did lots of other folks.Lots path ways ...  more »

  • Daffodil Hill is a beautiful place. I love flowers and it was nice seeing them blooming. They have a picnic area. Like other users have mentioned, there are no GPS or phone signal on the hill. And there are porter potties with no hand washing station. So take your wipes, hand santizers..
  • This is a beautiful and free attraction powered by volunteers! Over 300 varieties of daffodils are planted and you can see them against the picturesque backdrop of old farm houses and structures. The family also nurtures a herd of peacocks that are in the most beautiful condition I have ever seen. Each daffodil season, tons of people come up including tour buses to see this attraction. It is well worth the trip and round it out to a full weekend by stopping at the quaint town of Volcano as well for great food at the cafe or volcano Union Inn. Opens 10-4 during season. Check their Facebook page for updates.
  • Beautiful flowers and natural atmosphere. The drive was beautiful, but a bit windy. Parking is horrible and could be more organized, but the volunteers work hard to direct traffic. So great that the parking and hill are free! Memorable experience.
  • On of the most blessed people in the world share their beautiful hill of daffodils. There are over one million daffodil bulbs planted over the years. Some are purchased through the kind donations of visitors like you! Visit as early as you can. They open when 25% of the bulbs are open, then close when less than 25% of the bulbs are open. Snow closed the hill three years ago when it snowed over a foot and was only open one day. Even after a rain they must let the hill dry because it is very slippery. Please call ahead to see if they are open. If you can, visit during the weekday. Traffic is not good and there is not alot of parking. This is a must see and people from all over would make the trek to Daffodil Hill.
  • It's really beautiful, but the out houses are discussing! Very dirty! You'd think after a busy weekend you'd clean the out houses up a bit. And bring in a place to wash your hands.
