  • The museum was small but interesting. Take time to read about history of its founders near the entrance. Does not take long to tour. Small gift shop.  more »
  • I was so excited to see this museum! Great artifacts and photo ops although smaller than I anticipated. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.  more »
  • One of the side-effects of having moved all over the country over the last five years is that I've been to a LOT of museums just like this; we were only there last week, and I already can't remember t...  more »

  • It was a lot smaller than I had anticipated. A lot of the exhibits were casts and not actual fossils. It was still cool to see, but there's not much there
  • I was lucky enough to be able to stop here for the Ithaca Loves Teachers event. My colleague and I really enjoyed ourselves while walking through time. I will definitely visit again and will recommend my students visit as well!
  • A lot of fun for the whole family. Beautiful photos and exhibits.
  • Really pretty grounds in the summer! Also there is an exhibit of these weird prehistoric dioramas from the Smithsonian in the 50s where they point out all the inaccuracies, so if you're into weird science irony that's worth checking out. I think the exhibits overall need a little updating though.
  • Good way to pass an hour or two, it depends on how much your kids want to interact with the exhibits. Very educational so not ideal for smaller kids, great for older preteens.
