  • An essential Ithaca experience! If you hate crowds, try coming on Sunday or before 10:30 on Saturdays or try one of their satellite markets around town on weekdays. While it's basically dog-friendly, Saturdays are the exception and your pooch will have to wait at home or with a friend outside the market. There is an ATM on-site but the line is huge, and most vendors and certainly the performers appreciate smaller bills. Bring your own bag or buy a souvenir bag there.
  • Short and sweet! Ithaca's farmers market has so many different kinds of food from Cambodian to Cuban. There's jewelry, t-shirts, organic veggies, raw honey, coffee and cookies. Its all under a nice pavilion that sits on a lake. So you can buy some snacks, sit on their outside terrace and enjoy the view. They do allow dogs but only on the terrace outside not in the actual pavilion. We had some amazing pork buns, Sampras and banana bread.
  • This little farmer's market is beautiful and full of life. The vendors are all really friendly, the food is good, and there's a great atmosphere. I really enjoyed the location right by the river as well. I would definitely recommend be visiting if you're in Ithaca for the weekend.
  • Love all of the different ethnic food that's offered. They always have tons of different vegetables, fruit, bread, jam, honey and many other homemade goodies. The prices are usually high but it is Ithaca and much of it is Organic. The brick oven pizza is delicious but expect it to take awhile. My Favorite is the Cambodian food. If you're willing to try something different that's the thing to try. The parking can be a real pain some days. Prepare to go earlier or walk a ways.
  • The Ithaca farmers market is a great place to start your grocery shopping for the week or grab some great food with friends or family and sit by the water and enjoy the day. You can buy plants, product from local farms, clothing, and breakfast and lunch food from many different cultures. There are bathrooms and an ATM here and lots of picnic tables and seating near the water. If you haven't been definitely come check it out. I like to put a cooler and cold pack in my car and do my veggies shopping then put it in the cooler in the car then go back and grab some yummy food and a coffee relax by the water.
