  • We followed several trails and walked the dog; scenic. Liked everything except the parking fee. That was too, high.
  • I went to a white party here (Soiree en Blanc - flash mob picnic). Parking was easy and is close to the main area. A great place to bring your kayak etc and enjoy the expansive lake. Great for events or little picnics. Excellent new bathroom facilities.
  • A good sized park that gets fairly crowded on sunny days, a day at Lake Sammamish State Park is one of the better ways to enjoy the lake. There's a patrolled beach, plenty of tables, public grills, restrooms, good open spaces, and fairly ample parking. Paddleboard rentals are available near the smaller beach for people who do not have their own. For the non-water going crowd, a few kilometers of trails wind their way through the park from the main area towards the boat ramp and the nearby Microsoft campus. (Access to the East Lake Sammamish Trail can be had via the Boat ramp) Note: A discover pass is required so be sure to bring yours if you have one. If you need to purchase a pass the friendly ranger in the booth can sell you one (at the cheapest rate available!) or an automated pay station is near the park office should the booth be unmanned.
  • Walking, reading, animal watching, okay structures and so much more all here. The incredible beauty of the area all in one place. The restoration of the park area for wildlife also makes the park more beautiful. Take time to enjoy the immense beauty.
  • nice park, bu often busy. We come here annually for a company event and have always been able to get the spot we want and/or need. However parking can be a bit pricey.
  • It would have been better if the beach was open; it's been closed for renovations. The weather was great and the grounds were clean and well kept. We will be back for that huge picnic area.
