  • Nice RV park but poorly maintained. Our pull through site was eroded from previous rains. The site had a number of Kochia weeds with some almost waist high. Considering the price of an overnight stay,...  read more »
  • Have fished Isleta before and always caught "some" fish, nice cats actually. However, been to both lakes recently, during the derby and caught nothing but sun and a 6 inch blue gill. They say it was s...  read more »
  • I think Good Sam may want to revisit this place to change their ratings. If you don't mind ant infestations, horribly uneven dirt RV spots, standing water that's inches deep throughout the RV park and...  read more »
  • I am 22 years old and I have been fishing all over new mexico and I have never caught a fish. But today I caught my first fish ever and 9 more on top of that. This place is beautiful well kept and super fun I had a blast. For the people saying they didn't catch anything there was about 20 other people catching more then me. I will definitely be going here alot.
  • This place does not take reservations!! How do you plan a family trip around that? Try American RV instead. They are great! There's no fishing there but based on the other reviews, you probably don't want to fish here anyway.
  • I wanted to take two disabled youths fishing here and there were no discounts and they wanted an outragious $15 or $16 EACH! I as a 100% disabled vet have a life-time fishing liscence in NM and that, too, was NOT HONORED! I was told I had to pay the full price! How is this reflective of the Isleta that certified disabled youths (16 and 14) and a 100% disabled US military vet with life-time hunting and fishing privileges in NM has to pay full price to fish when I don't even know if the kids will stick at fishing for 20 minutes! So to buy fishing poles and bate, pay to fish for all of us and they don't like the filthy water . . . then after 20 minutes we leave . . . This is quite delusional to talk to the lady on the other end. I will NEVER step foot on that operation again nor will I ever have a good word to say about the entire operation because of trying to do a good deed and this casino operation couldn't have a well thoughtout policy for the disabled to do things like normal citizens. The woman on the phone obviously had no interest nor concern in being helpful. I had respect for Isleta but no longer.
  • Payed 70$ caught one 2 inch blue gill. I haven't seen anyone else catch anything and the lake is disgusting. No one cares about the facility here and they obviously don't stalk the fish. Usually even if you're not catching any fish you can at least see some activity in the water but there's absolutely nothing.
  • Everything was great, and great security, but there is a train that goes by and blares it's horn every few hours all night long loud enough to wake you from a dead sleep...
