  • We went midday so we didn't do the hike to the Petroglyphs. However the beaches here are amazing to wander around. Plenty of parking and a well kept restroom facility. There are a couple of picnic tables as well.
  • Not impressed by the management of the park. Signs are falling apart and poorly marked. It is very interesting once you make it to the end though.
  • The hike through the unique forest is worth the trip by itself. Petroglyphs are very different from those in southwest U.S. and worth the easy hike.
  • Amazing to learn about how much effort it took to create these mysterious images still visible today.
  • The best petroglyphs are 100 yards from the parking lot. If you want to go for a rocky .7 mile hike to see lackluster petroglypns with no story behind them, then go for it. But next time I'm going to enjoy the petroglyphs that are 100 yards from the car, or find a venue that has more story / analysis of their petroyglyphs.
