  • Location is N of Fairmont on trail leading ESE from start of (not beach end) of Holoholokai Beach Park. Trail starts paved then goes as cleared foot trail thru lava and forest. Marked with sawdust. Stay with it. At 0.6 mi crosses gravel road and terminates at vast clearing on smooth basalt with innumerable petroglyphs carved into surface.
