  • Visited with family on a blustery morning in October. The view was wonderful from our seat at the Hungry Tarpon Restaurant. Our family of five ordered a filling breakfast, all of us, including our eight year old, ten year old and 17 year old and my vegetarian wife found satisfying items to order on the menu. Big cups of coffee kept us parents happy. Great service. A great breakfast and experience for our road trip! The view was fabulous as the sun rose, and afterward we made sure to feed the tarpon on the dock -- a must if you're visiting the Keys.
  • Robbies of Islamorada is a must stop for some tarpon feeding fun and a great meal overlooking the water. I went on a Sunday and it was filled with people. Even though we went on a busy day, our wait for lunch took only 10 to 15 minutes. Our server was friendly, very mindful of us through our visit. I ordered the Grouper Sandwich and it was fried perfectly along with some hot french fries. The beer could of been a tad bit colder, but still enjoyable in the Florida heat. When we finished out lunch we paid the $3 for a bucket of fish to feed the famous tarpon that hang out by the docks. For just several dollars, I think this is the most fun one can enjoy. Great place and atmosphere, along with great service. I will come back!
  • Visited Robbies everytime I have friends or family in town, especially if they have kids. Feeding the tarp in the back always brings out the kid in the adults and joy to the kids. Food is ok, definitely a cool tourist spot
  • I tried out this place because my nephew was dying to feed the tarpon. So we went there and let me say this would be the last time I step foot in that place. The tarpon feeding was fun but a bit chaotic since it was so many people but we had fun. Our mistake was eating at the restaurant. Wait time wasn't too bad but then they sat 14 of us in a table for 11. When we told them they said there was nothing they could do. Waitress was great. Food took forever to come out. When complained they said since we have a big table but I said four or five other tables with 6 or 7 people each got their food already. Food comes out and it really isn't anything out of this world. McDonald's cooks a better fish sandwich than them. So paying $16 for a crap fish sandwich the whole time you have to be careful that the birds don't crap on you. One of our family members got crapped on three times and I was crapped in once. Never going to this place again and I would definitely not recommend anyone to go here.
  • HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. MANAGEMENT IS VERY CONCEITED. They treat you like if they were making YOU a favor. Place, the view and surroundings are beautiful. Food, waitress were great. BUT the way that place is being managed is not good. The tour guides(jet skies) are the most rude and hysterical people. We went there for my gf birthday and they yelled at us the entire tour. They kept looking at the time, you could tell that they were upset for being there with you. Instead of helping you and giving you a nice positive moment, they make you feel like if you were an idiot for not being at their level (with jet skies). Like I said the surrounding is wonderful but if you want to rent a jet ski, go somewhere else unless you want to give money to this arrogant people.
