  • As a scouting family with 2 Eagle Scouts and 2 Girl Scouts, this museum was awesome! Especially the Norman Rockwell exhibit!

  • Really cool. Lots of information. Kids found it a little boring but we wanted to show them there is a history and a brotherhood in scouts and I think the message. Aurora rally beautiful spot.
  • Spectacular collection of Scouting memorabilia displayed in an incredible layout describing the history of scouting as I've never seen it before. I especially was impressed with the Order of the Arrow exhibit in the exhibit of New Mexico artifacts that pay respect to the land that Philmont inhabits. Truly a national treasure!
  • Such a great display of scouting history! Definitely worth the stop.
  • Great place to learn about Scouting history. Great gift shop. Make sure your scouts have time to visit. Matter fact there should be a special history badge that can be earned learning and reporting on it.
  • Great side trip for a Philmont Crew. Free admission. After hiking the back country, don't miss this one on the way outta town.
