  • It is a spot overlooking the DFW Airport and departing planes. Saw so many small American aircraft landing several times like I and the next moment Qantas A380 Flying staff was truly excited to its size. I think the sandwich just watch landing, so nothing around to bring fun.

  • Good way to kill an hour, watching planes take off and land at DFW. Get a flight tracket (Flight Radar 24) and you will be able to tell where each plane came from.  more »
  • This observation area is easily accessed by Texan Trail without fighting the airport terminal traffic. Lots of parking and even some covered seating so you can stay out of the sun in the summer. Great...  more »

  • This place is awesome. It's a bit away from the runways. Best when aircraft are taking off southbound. I'd recommend bringing lawn chairs and mosquito spray to really enjoy. Perfect place to hold a picnic for aviation aficionados. It's sometimes frequented by annoying folks (loud music, view obstructors etc.) who aren't there for "observing" but taking up parking space waiting for their people to arrive at the airport.
  • Great views! A nice place to just relax and watch the planes land and take off. Its always nice and clean.
  • My sons love having lunch "at the airport" when the weather permits! Whether we pack or buy lunch and bring it, we almost always have a good time. Sadly, there aren't rest rooms or this place might be perfect!
  • a beautiful place to sit and watch the planes take off and land! It is even better if you have a scanner and can listen to the control tower and pilots speak.
  • It's a good picnic place, where you can enjoy the landing and take offs from DFW airport from close proximity! We went there around evening and we could couple of planes lading and taking offs!
