  • Tanaka farms has a great variety of fruit and vegetable crops and offers a great program of themed tours depending on the season. You get to actually go out into the fields and taste food picked right off the vine or pulled right from the ground. Their u-pick tour is awesome because it's like produce shopping in the fields. Everything has a price per/lb that gets weighed and paid for at the end of the tour (which is free). Sweetest and crisp corn tastes amazing right off the stalk! I was eating it for days like a dessert treat.
  • Every End of june and july, we come here to buy their melons. The melons here are very sweet. People come to this farm to pick their own veggies and strawberries. If picking is not your thing, you can also buy it from their market. This place is a lot of fun and it's worth a visit.
  • Loved the ambiance, the concept, and the staff. Had great fun on today's Cook Out tour and the veggies we picked were gorgeous! One suggestion---our vegetables came off the grill in their aluminum trays not only uncooked and essentially raw but actually cold. I would suggest that alternative methods of cooking be explored. My suggestion is that several wok stations be set up and manned by staff. We had to bring our harvest home and cook it a wok before it was edible. All in all, it was wonderful to enjoy the freshest of veggies for our lunch.
  • Great place for photos! My husband and I took our 4 month old daughter here yesterday to visit pumpkin patch and I thought this place is awesome! Entrance fee is $2.00 each and kids under 2 are free. We didn't buy any pumpkin, but we enjoyed walking around. Our purpose was to take photos of our daughter with her costume. We spotted a few great spot to take photos. Needless to say, there are plenty of nice spot for photo opportunity. This place is definitely family friendly. We saw a lot of families and mommies (just like myself) taking photos of their kids with their costume on. We'll come back again.
  • This place is such a fun place to take your children just to pick veggies, take photos or just enjoy the scenery! In Different seasons they have special u-pick fruits, strawberries or watermelon near the summer then pumpkins in the fall! There is a tractor ride, petting zoo, small farm stand and games... We've come here every year and always enjoy our time! No admission fee but fees for the purchase of pumpkins or the hay ride.
