  • It's great to get up north and enjoy the quality parks we have in MN. Enjoy the quiet peaceful forests, sit by the lakes, the fall colors are amazing, try to get up high on one of the trails around the lakes and you will really enjoy it. I come for the mountain bike trails, some of the best in MN.
  • clean park and well maintained. Storms rolled through but we were surprisingly very sheltered in the campground. Portsmouth lake is crystal clear and would make for good scuba diving.
  • Trails up here are amazing. Wonderful views, have been here many times, and am never disappointed
  • The lake we spent time caning on was crystal clear! The paved trails were a nice diversion for the middle of the day, and the outhouses were in good condition. The park is well landscaped with lots of prairie flowers.
  • Incredible mountain bike trails! Views are amazing and trails are well groomed. There are a variety of trails to suit many skill levels.
