  • Hard to get to and very small parking lot but beautiful and not crowded since you can't get there easily or park. View of crane beach. Took the paddle board out. Water is still cold in mid july
  • The dirt road is a bit bumpy in spots but worth the drive. This is a great beach to walk on, and the views are spectacular.
  • Very nice place to visit. The last mile or so to Sandy Point is a gravel road, wouldn't go there on a motor cycle. Very good place to take photos of birds or to just take a walk on the beach.
  • The best sand on plum island, most the other beaches on plum island have coarse sand that hurts too walk on for long periods. Parking is tight so get there early. Fishing off the southern tip is also great.
  • Sandy Point is my LiL Slice of Heaven! We get up early, hit this beautiful beach.. n stsy.. ALL DAY LONG!!
