  • Crane's offers 4 miles of absolutely beautiful, sandy beach. We were fortunate to have a great and sunny day with only a few fellow beach goers. The location is easily accessible and the vistas are st...  read more »
  • This is not your cutesy little post card beach like Manchester's Singing Beach. No, no no- it's huge; with dunes, tidal pools, wildlife, birds galore, horses, dogs (off season) and the untamed Atlanti...  read more »
  • This is a behind the scenes tour, tour guide was very knowledgeable! Get to see the basement, staff quarters and roof, it was really great.
  • Beautiful beach. Generally crowded on weekends, but great on weekdays. Foot showers are not very useful, as you have to walk through sand to get to the parking lot from them. Large parking area, snackbar, changing rooms with curtains. Water is cold, like the rest of the north shore.
  • $30 for parking! I know they are trying to raise money, but ... It's best to bring your own food, the line is long, and service takes awhile. Beach gets crowded near the bathrooms/ food. Beach is always clean! Bathrooms/ changing house is clean and renovated. Great customer service!
  • Parking is a little pricey and you have to get there early so you can get a spot but even if you don't there's still a shuttle bus for a fee. There are many sand dunes which have some nice trails in the beach is lacking of rocks which makes the sand very soft
  • Nice beach but oh so crowded. On a nice day the parking at the beach gets filled up quick in the morning so you'll have to go to the train station to hop a ride on a bus that will cost you $5 round trip but comes every 45 minutes. Last bus leaves at 5:30pm. Good luck!
  • Cranes is by far the most beautiful beach around. It is very long making it a perfect place to go on beach walks, and you can see the Castle Hill estate. In the winter it is dog friendly. It is really reasonable to get a pass for the year.
